FAQ's

How much does delivery cost?

We are pleased to offer free delivery to all UK customers.  Please contact us if you live outside of the UK and we can provide you with more information.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes, this will be automatically sent to your email address when you place an order.  If you haven't received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us at claire@momentintimejewellery.co.uk so we can check the status.  Please check your mailbox spam and junk folders in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

I would like the item personalised with engraving, how do I give you these details?

We will not ask for the details when you place your order.  The order form will be posted with the print kit and this is where you can complete the engraving details you would like.

Can you use prints I already have?

Yes, we are often able to work with prints you may already have.  With fingerprint moulds, we will need the original mould which we would ask you to post to us.  The mould is not damaged when we make the jewellery so we will return it to you.  With hand, foot or paw print jewellery, all we would need is a copy of the print which you can email to prints@momentintimejewellery.co.uk together with your order number.  If you have a fingerprint taken with ink on paper, we would ask that you email us a copy before you order so that we can check that it is suitable for the jewellery.

Can I change my order once it has been placed?

If you have just placed your order and would like to amend or modify it, please let us know ASAP so that we can change the details before the print kit and order form have been posted to you.  Once your order has entered production then personalisation details can not be changed.  Please email us at claire@momentintimejewellery.co.uk or use the online chat.

Are my children too old or too big to take prints?

Definitely not, we can use fingerprint, hand, foot and paw prints from anyone at any age.  Our fingerprint jewellery is 'real size' and the print is taken directly from the mould and set into the silver.  With the hand, foot and paw print jewellery, the print is miniaturised to fit on your chosen item of jewellery.

How old does my baby have to be for fingerprint jewellery?

There are no hard and fast rules as fingerprints, by their very nature, will vary from child to child.  Generally the younger the baby, the less defined the fingerprint will be but even if the clarity of the fingerprint is not very clear, the indentation is still very much a fingerprint.  If you are unsure please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss further.

Can I visit your studio to place my order?

Our jewellery is created in a working studio which, due to insurance reasons, we are unable to open to the public.  If you do need any assistance placing your order you can contact us on 01794 377015, or by using the livechat facility on our website.

Do you have a telephone number?

Yes we certainly do - 01794 377015.  If you have any queries, please give us a call.
